Welding machines for HDPE pipes are a special type of welding equipment that is designed for welding pipes made of low-pressure polyethylene (HDPE). Modern welding machines for polyethylene pipes are designed for welding pipes made of low-pressure polyethylene of grades PE80 and PE100, as well as for their connection with various fittings made of polyethylene. Modern welding equipment allows welding polyethylene pipes with diameters from 16 mm to 1600 mm.
Welding machines for polyethylene pipes are divided into two main types, which differ in the method and type of welding:
devices for butt welding (butt welding) of HDPE pipes
devices for electrofusion (electrofusion) welding of HDPE pipes.

Butt welding devices (butt welding) are used to connect polyethylene pipes with diameters from 40 to 1200 mm, and devices for electrofusion (electrofusion) welding are used to connect polyethylene pipes with diameters from 16 to 1600 mm.
In turn, each type of welding machine for polyethylene pipes has different types, depending on the principle of operation. For example, devices for butt welding of polyethylene pipes come with a mechanical and hydraulic drive, as well as for manual welding. And devices for electrofusion welding of polyethylene pipes are used to connect HDPE pipes using electrofusion fittings with and without a barcode.
The use of devices for welding HDPE pipes makes it possible to achieve a high-strength connecting seam, which ensures a very strong and tight connection of pipes made of polyethylene grades PE-80 and PE-100 between themselves and with connecting polyethylene fittings. It should also be noted that polyethylene pipe welding machines are used not only for butt and electrofusion welding, but also for preparatory work. For example, with the help of this welding equipment, it is possible to trim, center and align the connected pipes or HDPE fittings.
