Segment fittings
Segmented fittings for water
Polimer Group Asia supplies segmented fittings for polyethylene pipelines with diameters ranging from 355 to 1000 mm. These products are used in water supply systems and industrial pipelines.
What are segment fittings?
Segment fittings are manufactured by welding individual segments of PE100 polyethylene pipes. Each element is prepared at the required angle and welded into a single product. This method allows the manufacture of large-diameter fittings and fittings for any non-standard tasks.
The main types of segment fittings:
Elbows — change the direction of the pipeline (angle 11°, 22°, 45°, 90°).
Transitions — connect pipes of different diameters.
Tees — branch or combine the flow.
Crosses — distribute the flow in four directions.
Reducing inserts — smooth transition between diameters.
Application:
Cold and drinking water supply.
Industrial pipelines for chemical liquids.
Sewerage systems and pressure sewerage.
How segment fittings are manufactured:
Segments are cut from polyethylene pipes at the required angle.
The segments are butt welded under controlled temperature and pressure.
The finished product undergoes leak testing and weld quality control.
Advantages of Polimer Group Asia segment fittings:
Possibility of manufacturing non-standard sizes and angles.
Diameter range — from 315 to 1000 mm.
High strength and durability — service life up to 50 years.
Resistance to corrosion and aggressive environments.
Cost-effectiveness.
